Sussan Nguyen

Sussan has been at Hartleys for the past decade practising Family Law, and before that worked in government and general practice. In her time as a Family Lawyer she has worked on a wide variety of parenting and property matters, and has experience as an advocate in both the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Magistrates’ Courts. In 2018, she joined Victoria Legal Aid’s Family Law & Family Violence Panel as an Individual Certifier, in 2019 she completed Victoria Legal Aid’s Independent Children’s Lawyers training program, in 2022 she joined the partnership team at Hartleys and in 2024 she completed her Masters of Applied Law (Family Law) and was awarded the Best Graduating Masters Student Prize in the overall Family Law field and a Certificate of High Achievement in recognition of her academic excellence in the postgraduate specialisation of Advanced Issues in Property, Maintenance and Child Support. Sussan is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, Victoria Legal Aid’s Family Law & Family Violence Panel, the Western Suburbs Law Association, the Law Council of Australia (Family Law Section) and Victorian Womens Lawyers.
